How does the HQS work permit differ from a standard work permit?

The HQS permit is not quota-dependent and is valid for up to 3 years. It requires a minimum salary set by law and is typically processed in 14 business days. Standard permits are subject to annual quotas and are usually valid for 1 year.

Can I switch from a business visa to a work permit while in Russia?

In certain circumstances yes, but the process depends on your current immigration status and the type of permit you are applying for. We recommend a consultation before initiating any status change.
