FAQ

What is a Russian visa?

A visa to the Russian Federation is a document, permitting stay in Russia for a specific period of time.

Russian visa lists entry/exit dates, your name, passport details, and a purpose of travel. Please note, that your Russian visa is an exit permit just like it's an entry permit: if you lose it or stay over your designated departure date, leaving the country could be more troublesome than entering it.

What information should contain Russian visa?

Any Russian visa contains data as follows: surname, name (written with letters of the Russian and Latin alphabets), date of birth, sex, citizenship (nationality), number of the main document proving the identity of the foreign citizen or a person without citizenship, data of visa issue, permitted period of stay in the Russian Federation, number of invitation for the entry to the Russian Federation or decision of a state body, period of visa validity, purpose of the journey, data of a host organization (inviting natural person), visa repetitiveness.
