Do I need to register my Russian visa?

All Russian visas should be registered upon arrival in the Russian Federation within 3 business days after your arrival in the Russian Federation. If you stay less than 3 business days (exluding holidays and weekends) you do not need the registration.

Where can I find photo specification for Russian visa?

Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application for Russian visa will be considered by Russian consulate or Russian Embassy incomplete.

The photograph needs to be glued to the indicated space on the application form and meet the following requirements:

  1. Recent colour photograph (not more than 6 months old).

  2. Taken against a light background (white or off-white) so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
