Will the Russian consulate assist me with my documents when I apply for a Russian visa?

The Russian Consulate will only issue you a visa if all the documents they require are completed correctly and submitted together. They never provide any help in acquiring any documents you may need, or in completing the application form itself.

Which documents should I present in Russian consulate to get visa?

The following documents should be submitted to obtain a business visa for Russia:
1. A photocopy of the information pages of your valid passport (showing your name, birth date, passport number, and expiry date) which should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the expiry date of the visa and has at least one blank page
2. A Russian visa application form completed and signed.
3. 3 recent passport photographs.
4. For a stay exceeding 3 months, or a multiple-entry visa, the results of an HIV test are required.

The Constitution of the Russian Federation

The Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted on December 12, 1993.

A total of 58,187,755 voters, or 54.8 percent of the registered voters, took part in the referendum on the new draft constitution.

Of this total, 32,937,30 voters, or 58.4 percent of those who took part in the referendum, voted in favour of the draft constitution.

The new constitution came into force on December 25, 1993, at the moment of its official publication.

The adoption of the 1993 Constitution marked the beginning of a new era in the history of Russian statehood.

The Constitution forms the country’s legal foundation, proclaims the President of the Russian Federation the head of state and lays upon him the responsibility for defending the Constitution, human rights and civil liberties, safeguarding Russia’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and ensuring the coordinated functioning and cooperation of the state bodies of power.
