Which documents should I present in Russian consulate to get visa?

The following documents should be submitted to obtain a business visa for Russia:
1. A photocopy of the information pages of your valid passport (showing your name, birth date, passport number, and expiry date) which should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the expiry date of the visa and has at least one blank page
2. A Russian visa application form completed and signed.
3. 3 recent passport photographs.
4. For a stay exceeding 3 months, or a multiple-entry visa, the results of an HIV test are required.

How should I count the 180-day visa period regarding the 90-day restriction rule for Russian visa?

The 180-day Russian visa period regarding the 90-day restriction rule starts from the first day of first arrival (border crossing), not from the date of the Russian visa issuance.
